Half Day Tours Meandrica or Quebrada Bonita

 
     
 

Half Day Itinerary:
Duration: 6 hours
Trails: Meandrica, Universal, Quebrada Bonita and Araceas

Description: There are two half day options; all will depend on what species from our Carara National Park list is on your mind. The order of trail/activity will varied upon request. But here is a sample: Starting at the Meandrica's trail, early in the morning with breakfast on the go and water supplied by us. The trail is a complex variety of forest ranging from old secondary to abandoned pasture fields, which enhances our possibilites of a larger number of species and families.

The highlights on this trail are many, but some of the species are: Royal Flycather, Fiery Billed Aracari, antbirds, 5 species of Trogons, Black Bellied Wren, Boat Billed Heron, Yellow Billed Cotinga and hundreds more... Or a hike to old grown forest on a system of 3 interconnected trails with numerous new species such as: Great Tinamou, Ruddy Quail Dove, Golden Crowned Spadebill, Orange Collared, Blue Crowned, Red Capped, Thrushlike Manakins, more Trogons and antbirds like Streaked Chested Antpitta, Black Faced Antrush and the list goes on. A great trail for endemics.

Rate: Cost of tour is per person.

Half day services $50 usd ( no minimum required, but, a maximum of 4 ).
